I finally starting wrapping all the Christmas gifts yesterday whilst doing the whole playing festive song thing. The girls were with their dad for the day and it was an ideal time to crack on with the various outstanding deadlines I needed to deal with.
As a single working mum to three year old twins, I’m not going to lie – it can get tough at times but I have nothing to moan about – I am so blessed to be in the situation I am in. Despite being separated from the girls dad, we still have a great amicable relationship which enables us to remain a unit for the girls sake. First world problems and all that – putting things into perspective is so important, especially with all the devastation happening in Aleppo right now.
I started my blog nearly 3 years ago with no intention other than to use it for therapy whilst I rode the PND waves after having the twins. Social media has played a huge part in my recovery and it also played a huge part in my relapse. I guess it’s about knowing when to duck in and out of it to maintain a level head. But I find for me, it has to boarder on the darkness before I act. It’s a hard one to measure because I don’t forecast it happening at any one given time but I do avoid “trigger” posts as best a possible.

I can’t begin to tell you how pleased I am to feature Rod from Modern Dad Pages on my blog; he is a great blogger and such a supportive friend. Rod lives in Canada with his family but his readership spans globally with a heavy UK based readership.
